Administration Assistant
Job description
THE EMPLOYER IS: JMD TRAINING JMD Training is a professional health and safety training provider dedicated to helping individuals and organisations to enhance their skills, productivity and performance. We deliver high-quality, tailored training solutions across a range of business and technical disciplines throughout the North and South of Ireland. We are seeking a proactive and organised Administration Assistant to join our growing team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the office and assisting with the coordination of training courses, customer communications, and general administrative duties.
Responsibilities
- Greeting customers at the reception window.
- Responsible for answers and transferring calls to the relevant department.
- Preparing the resources for courses as requested.
- Preparing the external post for all cards and certificates to be sent out.
- Updating attendance and candidate details onto administrate.
- Filling as needed.
- Providing administration support to trainers.
- Assist other members of JMD Training to achieve company objectives.
- Any other duties considered relevant to the post.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small, collaborative team.
Desirable Skills
- Previous experience in an administrative or office support role.
- Interest in training, learning and professional development.

The Employer is: JMD TRAINING JobStart Opportunity - Working Hours Information - Standard Hours: up to 25 hours per week. - Flexible/Reduced Hours: May be available upon approval by a Work Coach. - Additional Hours: The employer may offer extra hours depending on availability.
