Administrative Officer


Job description

THE EMPLOYER IS: MONEYDARRAGH COMMUNITY HUB LIMITED This role involves a range of different administrative tasks including but not limited to maintaining records, drafting policies and liaising with the other staff and committee members to assist them in their duties.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update records, filing, booking and hub archives.
  • Maintain and update safety logs and procedures or, where absent, create them.
  • Maintain and update hub financial records and controls, using electronic financial management system (QuickBooks).
  • Assemble files of all company documentation required by HMRC, Companies House and Charities Commission.
  • Catalogue current policies and update these. Identify and draft additional policies for approval.
  • Assist in set-up and take-down of hub furniture and equipment. Liaise and assist other staff and committee members in their duties

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage and inspire community members.
  • Some degree of proficiency in using IT digital tools and databases for research and documentation - training will be given in the use of job specific IT programmes such as Canva, Inshot Google Maps and other tools.
  • A knowledge for local history and community heritage.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience in office administration, cash handling and business IT applications including accounts packages.
  • Experience in, or willingness to learn about, the establishment and maintenance of electronic and paper filing systems.
