Job description

Butcher / Counter Assistant required for immediate start. Hours could lead to more for the right candidate. For the successful applicant a lift could be arranged from Enniskillen if travel is a problem.

Responsibilities

• Show courtesy at all times
• Keep work area clean tidy and safe
• Taking in deliveries
• Putting away stock
• Providing excellent customer service
• Offering recommendations and taking orders.
• Serving customers
• Preparing trays for display cabinet

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Good customer service skills
• Knowledge of food handling regulations
• Knowledge of Health & Safety

Desirable Skills

• Knowledge of different cuts of meat and their uses
• Knife skills
