Receptionist
Job description
THE EMPLOYER IS: FALLS COMMUNITY COUNCIL As a receptionist you will be the first port of call for people entering the studio. Manage and maintain records, make phone calls and assist people in navigating to the right parts of the complex.
Responsibilities
- Operate telephone system.
- Record incoming messages for Falls Community Council staff.
- Transfer of calls to relevant FCC staff.
- Provide directions to Tennant offices within the St. Comgalls complex.
- Direct service users to event locations within the complex.
- Operate front door entrance.
- Maintain records.
- Handling post.
- Photocopying/laminating/emailing.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- ICT Proficient.
- Proficient in Microsoft applications i.e.: Word, Excel, Outlook.
- Good communication skills.
- Understanding of IT working protocols.
- Open to training progression both in house on off site.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Demonstrate a willingness to take instruction.
- Engage in work place mentoring.
- Maintain a clean working environment.
- English - Spoken and written for communication purposes.
Desirable Skills
- Previous experience of working as a receptionist or a similar position.
