Job description

We are recruiting home care assistants for a home care package in Belfast. Monday, Tuesday - 17:15 - 20:00 and Saturday 08:00 - 14:00 - week 1 Wednesday, Thursday and Friday - 17:15 - 20:00 and Sunday 08:00 - 14:00 - week 2 Full training for this role will be provided by NWCare in their in-house training academy. Responsibilities

• Sitting with a Service User and providing personal care
• Light meal preparation
• Companionship
• General tidy round leaving all areas safe
• Light meal preparation

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Full driving licence and access to a motor vehicle
• Great communication skills
• Able to promote and deliver person centered care
• Able to promote dignity and respect when delivering care
• Be well organised/professional/caring

Desirable Skills

• QCF Level 3 in health and social care or equivalent
• Previous paid caring experience
• Interested in working in the community within Health and Social Care
• Care about the community they live in
