Job description

We are recruiting home care assistants to cover both full time and part time rotas in Warrenpoint/Rostrevor. No training or qualifications are required as NWCare provides full bespoke training in their in-house training academy. We have morning and afternoon rotas available beginning 07:00 - 18:30.

Responsibilities

• Care within the community - personal care.
• Light meal preparation.
• Companionship.
• General tidy round leaving all areas safe and clean.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Full driving licence and access to a motor vehicle.
• Great communication skills.
• Able to promote and deliver person centered care.
• Interested in working in the community within Health and Social Care.
• Care about the community they live in.

Desirable Skills

• QCF Level 3 or above in health and social care.
• Previous paid caring experience.
• Able to promote dignity and respect when delivering care.
• Be well organised/professional/caring.

Further Information

Location: - Warrenpoint/Rostrevor. We work a 4/3 rota pattern - Week 1 Monday, Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday - Week 2 Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. We offer all of our staff - Excellent hourly rate of pay. Mileage paid. Annual leave on a pro rata basis. NISCC - Post registration training learning. On-line learning. Training academies throughout Northern Ireland. Practical paid training. CPD approved certificate for training. QCF Levels 2, 3 and 5 qualifications. Internal career progression. Paid shadowing.
