Catering Supervisor


Job description

To organise and support the Catering team to ensure a professional, efficient service is delivered to clients and customers.

Responsibilities

  • Deputise in managers absence/perform a variety of tasks associated with food production, front and back of house services including food preparation, customer service, till operation, cleaning, Health & Safety, food hygiene and other general duties.
  • To ensure a professional, efficient service is delivered to clients and customers.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • Experience of supervising and leading a team.
  • Catering/Foodservice experience.
  • Good communication skills to be able to liaise with customers & colleagues.

Desirable Skills

  • Competent in IT.
  • NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in catering or customer service or relevant area.
  • Experience of working in a busy customer facing role.
  • Experience  of working in environments involving high levels of customer care.
