Our client in Monkstown are seeking Store Operatives to join their team. The Stores Operatives will ensure all material and parts are controlled and managed in an organised and efficient manner within the stores area.

Responsibilities

• Adhering to company safety policies and procedures, at all times
• Good inwards - goods off load, verify against paperwork and verify quality
• Stock management - ensure stock is put away in applicable section of stores
• Despatch - accurately ‘pick’ goods for fabrication, site, assembly or spares
• Maintain target 5s standards for work area and identify and implement improvements
• Ensure all equipment is properly set-up and used in a safe manner and that all safety devices are in use
• Stock counting - assist with the routine physical stock count and check stock levels on request
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Valid Forklift license or willing to complete a refresher
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in similar role
• Proven organisational skills with the ability to effectively plan, organise and control daily workload
• Good interpersonal skills
• Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team
• Attentive to detail
• Able to work under pressure
• Able to work on own initiative
• Willingness to develop and adapt to new situations
• Team player
• Available to work flexible hours and
• Clearance to work in UK

Desirable Skills

• NVQ level 3 Qualification in Warehousing/Stores
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in similar role
• Aisle Master or Bendi truck experience
• Material picking using handheld scanners
