THE EMPLOYER IS: ON THE SQUARE EMPORIUM As a Social Media Assistant, you’ll play an important role in promoting our brand to potential new and existing customers. You will help create and distribute content to various social media platforms as well as respond to customers' comments and enquiries.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the development and creation of written, graphic and video content for different social media platforms.
  • Use social media management tools to schedule and post content consistently across various channels.
  • Monitor social media channels, responding to comments and direct messages and encourage user interaction.
  • Assist with the planning and execution of social media campaigns and promotions.
  • Analyse social media data and user engagement to assess campaign success and provide reports on key metrics.
  • Stay up to date on the latest social media trends, tools and competitor activities.
  • Work with marketing sales, and other departments to ensure a cohesive online strategy.
  • Learn to understand our customers' needs and target customers and provide them in detail with the knowledge of our services and products.
  • Check emails regularly and respond to customer enquiries.
  • Direct our customers and guide them on various product information.
  • Coordinate internet promotions, handle sales enquiries and work out strategies to attract new customers.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of our product ranges.
  • Update our website with new product information and promotions.
  • Maximise sales on all available online platforms.
  • Make and take inbound or outbound calls where needed/stay abreast of online sales trends.
  • Analyse, review and make changes to our website for search engine optimisation and assist with the management of paid social media advertising.
  • Communicate effectively with the prospective as well as the existing customers by adopting the ways they would like to interact with us.

  • Strong writing and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of social media platforms.
  • Content creation abilities.
  • Good organisational time management skills.
  • Adaptability.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Good problem solving skills.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience in a previous role.
  • Basic SEO knowledge.
  • Paid advertising knowledge.
  • Influencer marketing knowledge.
  • Knowledge of AI tools.

Further Information

The Employer is: ON THE SQUARE EMPORIUM JobStart Opportunity - Working Hours Information. Standard Hours: up to 25 hours per week. Flexible/Reduced Hours: May be available upon approval by a Work Coach. Additional Hours: The employer may offer extra hours depending on availability.
