Job description

THE EMPLOYER IS: GADD GROUP HEALTH & WELLNESS The receptionist plays a key role in the smooth day-to-day running of Gadd Health and Wellness. This position involves managing front-of-house operations, providing excellent customer service, and supporting the wider team with administrative tasks. You'll be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, managing client communications, and ensuring all appointments and recovery treatments run seamlessly.

Responsibilities

  • Greet all clients warmly and make them feel at ease upon arrival.
  • Answer incoming calls, messages, and email promptly and professionally.
  • Handle client enquiries, bookings, and appointment confirmations using our scheduling system.
  • Check clients in and out of appointments, including recovery treatments and floatation sessions.
  • Show clients to their recovery booths or treatment areas and explain basic session guidelines.
  • Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the reception and waiting areas.
  • Support daily operational tasks including stock checks, towel rotations, refreshments, etc.
  • Liaise with coaches and therapists to ensure the schedule runs smoothly.
  • Handle walk-in enquiries and provide information about our services and memberships.
  • Process payments and manage point-of-sale transactions accurately.
  • Assist with basic administrative duties such as filing, printing and record keeping.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Clear verbal and written communication for handling calls, emails, and in-person interactions.
  • Capable of managing multiple bookings, tasks, and client enquiries efficiently without losing attention to detail.
  • Ensure that client information, bookings and payments are processed accurately and the spaces are kept pristine.
  • Maintain client confidentiality and represent Gadd Health & Wellness with integrity and care.
  • Comfortable using scheduling software, email platforms, and point-of-sale systems.
  • Flexible in handling varying daily tasks, from admin duties to supporting events to wellness sessions.

Desirable Skills

  • Someone who can work harmoniously with coaches, therapists, and management to maintain operational flow.

The Employer is: GADD GROUP HEALTH & WELLNESS JobStart Opportunity - Working Hours Information - Standard Hours: up to 25 hours per week. - Flexible/Reduced Hours: May be available upon approval by a Work Coach. - Additional Hours: The employer may offer extra hours depending on availability.
