Internal Audit’s mission is to provide independent, objective, value driven assurance and advisory services to Seagate’s global operations. Reporting to the Audit Committee, we focus on risks, the effectiveness of controls, compliance with policies, laws and regulations and we provide advice and guidance on all aspects of control activities, processes, policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the planning, execution and follow up of operational, financial, and compliance audits.
• Prepare accurate, logical work-papers clearly describing the work performed, testing results and conclusions
• Assist in the development of effective and practical recommendations.
• Work with management to develop acceptable solutions to address issues or gaps.
• Perform testing of SOX controls.
• Prepare draft audit findings, including observations and recommendations.
• Participate in risk assessments.
• Perform other duties related to Internal Audit as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• 1 - 2 years of internal control/process audit or accounting experience.
• Computer skills - proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Desirable Skills

• A bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent experience is strongly preferred
