Senior HR Advisor (TUPE)
Job description
Lead and manage a TUPE transfer process involving staff transitioning to College. Ensure that all responsibilities are carried out in timely and effective manner and that general confidentiality is maintained in all areas relating to the work of the College.
Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end TUPE transfer process in accordance with the Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) Regulations 2006 and the Service Provision Change (Protection of Employment) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2006
- Act as the primary HR contact for all stakeholders including transferring staff, unions, and legal advisors
- Conduct due diligence and review all necessary employee data and documentation provided by transferring organisation
- Development and implement a comprehensive TUPE project plan with clear timelines and deliverables
- Co-ordinate and facilitate consultation meetings with affected employees and their representatives
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Have at least a Level 6 qualification in the area of Human Resources, Organisational Development, Business Studies, or Leadership and Management
- Be a full, current professional member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) at Chartered Level (or above)
- Have at least 3 years experience working in a Human Resources function providing professional advice and guidance to Line Managers
- Have previous experience of implementing the Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) Regulations) 2006 and the Service provision Change (Protection of Employment) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2006
