THE EMPLOYER IS: MIN CO NO.4 LTD T/A THE FRYING SQUAD. We are looking for a friendly and reliable Junior Counter Assistant to join our team. This role is ideal for someone starting out in hospitality who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and providing excellent customer service. The successful candidate will support the front counter team by taking orders, serving customers, maintaining cleanliness, and assisting with basic preparation tasks, all while ensuring high standards of hygiene and customer care are met.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately.
• Operate the till and handle cash/card payments responsibly.
• Package food items and assist with serving orders.
• Restock items such as sauces, drinks, cutlery, and packaging.
• Keep the counter, seating, and service areas clean and tidy throughout the shift.
• Assist with basic food preparation tasks (e.g. portioning chips, preparing sauces, wrapping food).
• Follow all food hygiene and safety procedures.
• Support senior team members as needed during busy periods.
