Accounts Administrator
Job description
THE EMPLOYER IS: M MCCUNE & CO This position of Accounts Administrator involves inputting of data and preparation of Accounts/VAT/Taxation. Attention to detail, accuracy and confidentiality are necessities for this role.
Responsibilities
- Setting up client working files for the VAT/Accounts/Taxation.
- Inputting data onto excel spreadsheets.
- Analysing transactions and records to comply with financial policies and procedures.
- Inputting of all client financial data onto SAGE Accounts Production and analysing all transactions accordingly.
- Process the weekly and monthly payroll for clients.
- Preparing accounts from incomplete records.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Competent in use of Excel and Word.
- Traits including efficient, accurate and a team-player.
- Excellent time-keeping.
- Maths and English at GCSE grade B or above essential.
Desirable Skills
- Previous experience in an office/accountants office environment desirable.
- Previous training for IATI qualification desirable.
- Desirable that the candidate wants to progress within the accountancy environment.
