Job description

THE EMPLOYER IS: LEADCARE NURSING AGENCY The Compliance Officer ensures that all candidates meet the required regulatory, professional, and organisational standards before they are cleared to work. This role is essential for maintaining high-quality, safe, and fully compliant staffing. Full training will be provided.

Responsibilities

  • Candidate Compliance - Collect and verify all mandatory compliance documents (ID, right to work, qualifications, references, etc.).
  • Candidate Compliance - Conduct DBS checks, occupational health checks, and professional registration verifications.
  • Candidate Compliance - Ensure all candidate files meet regulatory standards before approval.
  • Candidate Compliance - Track and monitor expiry dates for mandatory training, DBS, immunisations, and professional registrations.
  • Documentation & Record Keeping - Maintain accurate and up-to-date compliance records in the internal system.
  • Documentation & Record Keeping - Upload, review, and approve documents following company guidelines.
  • Documentation & Record Keeping - Prepare compliance reports for internal audits and external inspections.
  • Communication & Support - Liaise with candidates to guide them through the compliance process and explain required documents.
  • Communication & Support - Communicate with recruiters, payroll, and onboarding teams regarding candidate readiness.
  • Communication & Support - Provide updates on compliance progress and highlight any delays or risks.
  • Quality & Regulatory Standards - Ensure all processes adhere to company policy, regulatory frameworks, and industry standards.
  • Quality & Regulatory Standards - Support compliance audits and implement corrective actions if required.
  • Quality & Regulatory Standards - Maintain confidentiality and support data protection practices.

  • IT literacy - comfortable using MS Office and able to learn new systems quickly.

  • Integrity and professionalism - handles sensitive information responsibly.
  • Proactive problem-solver - identifies issues early and works to resolve them quickly.
