Job description
The SureStart Health Visitor will work in partnership with their colleagues in the SureStart team to meet the needs of the families and children in the SureStart area. The post holder will lead the family support team and deliver child health programmes which will be complimentary and add value to the existing health visiting services. The SureStart Health Visitor, in partnership with families, will agree personal health plans that address individuals parenting and health needs.
Responsibilities
- Work as member of the SureStart team to plan and deliver an innovative and flexible health visiting service to families with children age 0-3 years.

Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Registered Nurse on Part 1 or 2 of the NMC register.
Desirable Skills
- Experience of managing a team.
- Have undertaken a recognised behaviour management course.
