Job description

To take the lead and act as leader in absence of the Leader.

Responsibilities

• To know, understand and follow the child/adult protection safeguarding policy.
• To work in close co-operation with Manager and the other team members.
• To guide, observe, stimulate and supervise in a safe and caring environment as part of the childcare team implementing centre policies, procedures and minimum standards.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• NVQ level 3 in Early Years Care and Education.
• 1 year's paid experience in Early Years setting.

Desirable Skills

• First Aid Paediatric qualification.
• Child Protection qualification.
• 1 year's paid experience in a Pre-School setting.
