THE EMPLOYER IS: EXCEL IMPORTS LIMITED The Sales and Marketing Assistant supports the sales and marketing teams in executing strategies that drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and revenue growth. This role involves coordinating campaigns, managing administrative tasks, analysing performance metrics, and assisting with customer communications

Responsibilities

  • Sales Support - Assist the sales team with preparing proposals, quotes, presentations, and sales materials.
  • Sales Support - Maintain and update the CRM system with leads, customer information, and sales activity.
  • Sales Support - Coordinate follow-ups with prospects and existing customers.
  • Sales Support - Support order processing, invoicing, and other basic administrative tasks.
  • Sales Support - Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports.
  • Marketing Support - Assist with the creation, scheduling, and monitoring of digital marketing campaigns (email, social media, ads).
  • Marketing Support - Help produce marketing content such as blog posts, newsletters, graphics, and promotional materials.
  • Marketing Support - Update website content and ensure product information is accurate.
  • Marketing Support - Support event planning (trade shows, webinars, product launches).
  • Marketing Support - Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and customer insights gathering.
  • Administrative & Coordination Duties - Organize meetings, maintain calendars, and prepare documentation.
  • Administrative & Coordination Duties - Handle internal communication between sales, marketing, and other departments.
  • Administrative & Coordination Duties - Maintain inventory of marketing materials and coordinate distribution.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and basic digital marketing tools (e.g., Mailchimp, Canva, social media platforms).

  • Basic understanding of sales processes and marketing principles.
  • Proactive and eager to learn.
  • Team-oriented, with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Creative thinker with problem-solving ability.

Further Information

The Employer is: EXCEL IMPORTS LIMITED JobStart Opportunity - Working Hours Information. Standard Hours: up to 25 hours per week. Flexible/Reduced Hours: May be available upon approval by a Work Coach. Additional Hours: The employer may offer extra hours depending on availability.
