We're looking for a dedicated Project Worker 1 - Childcare Worker to join our team and make a positive impact. Barnardo’s Family Connections service provides family support, parent programmes and parent and child together sessions in South and East Belfast. We are looking for caring, child-centred individuals to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care and supervision for children in line with safeguarding standards.
• Plan and deliver engaging activities that promote learning and creativity.
• Support children's emotional, social, and physical development.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and stimulating environment.
• Communicate effectively with parents and colleagues.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Previous experience in childcare or early years education.
• Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 in Childcare or equivalent)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach.
• Ability to work as part of a team and follow safeguarding procedures.
