THE EMPLOYER IS: MIND YOUR MATE AND YOURSELF MYMY is a mental health charity. Since 2020 our charity has been a key source of funding for MYMY. The charity shop is an attractive retail space, it is a supportive environment for our volunteers and a safe place for those seeking assistance. Provide excellent customer service. Handle cash and card payments, cash up the till, and arrange a float.

Responsibilities

• Make everyone feel welcome.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Handle cash and card payments, cash up the till, and arrange a float.
• Perceive, review and process donations from the public.
• Ensure the shop is well stocked and merchandise is displayed in an attractive manner.
• Keep the shop clean and tidy.
• There will be a varied amount of manual handling and physical activity required within the day-to-day duties.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Previous paid experience in retail, sales or customer service.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Able to work on a rota system which will include Saturdays.

Desirable Skills

• Previous experience in fashion sales.
• Previous experience in shop merchandising.
• Previous experience working with volunteers.

The Employer is: MIND YOUR MATE AND YOURSELF JobStart Opportunity - Working Hours Information. Standard Hours: up to 25 hours per week. Flexible/Reduced Hours: May be available upon approval by a Work Coach. Additional Hours: The employer may offer extra hours depending on availability.
