GetSociable is a dynamic and innovative company specialising in promoting Live Entertainment events. We are committed to delivering exceptional video marketing content to our clients and are looking for a Video Content Creator to join our team. You will play an important role in supporting our creative and marketing team by producing engaging video content for a variety of platforms. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual who loves creating their own content currently for social media and is eager to learn and grow within the field of video creation. You will gain hands on experience in filming, editing, and optimising video assets, while learning how to adapt content for social media and digital campaigns. Along the way, you’ll develop your creative skills, explore new tools and techniques, and help bring our brand stories to life through video.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning and producing video content for social media, campaigns, and other digital platforms.
  • Capture, edit, and optimise short form and long form video assets to engage online audiences
  • Support the creation of video concepts, storyboards, and scripts in collaboration with the marketing team
  • Manage and organise video files, ensuring content is properly stored and accessible
  • Monitor performance of video content across platforms and share insights to improve reach and engagement
  • Collaborate with the design team to integrate graphics, animations, and multimedia elements into videos
  • Stay up to date with the latest video trends, editing tools, and best practices in digital content creation

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • Basic knowledge of video production principles, including filming, editing, and storytelling
  • Familiarity with social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook) and how video content performs on each
  • Editing skills using tools such as Adobe or CapCut
  • Ability to create visually engaging video content, incorporating graphics, text overlays, and sound
  • Understanding of aspect ratios, resolutions, and formats for different platforms
  • Organisational skills to manage video assets, projects, and deadlines effectively
  • Willingness to learn how to analyse video performance metrics and apply insights to improve content
  • Awareness of current video trends, styles, and best practices in digital content creation

Desirable Skills

  • Knowledge of search engine optimisation (SEO) techniques to improve website visibility.
  • Understanding of search engine marketing (SEM) and experience with platforms like Google Ads.
  • Basic knowledge of sound design, audio editing, and music selection for video projects
  • Familiarity with photography and lighting techniques to support video shoots

Further Information

This work experience opportunity is expected to last for 8 weeks and will require attendance of 30hours / week. While on Work Experience, participants will retain their entitlement to benefit. Travel and childcare costs may be reimbursed. Participants will also receive an incentive payment equivalent to £10 per day/max £50/week.
