Job description

To carry out day to day packing tasks, including sleeving, metal detection and boxing of products. to be carried out while maintaining hygiene and safety standards in all areas.

Responsibilities

• Follow packing schedules and working orders correctly
• Sleeving of products
• Work effectively as part of a team to meet packing and production targets
• Record packing data such as start and end times, batch codes etc
• Maintain cleanliness of workstations and follow hygiene schedules
• Metal detection of products

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Good communication skills
• Understanding of hygiene and safety in the workplace
• Basic numeracy skills
• Ability to follow instructions

Desirable Skills

• Previous experience in food production preferred but not essential
