McElmeel Mobility Services is a pioneering leader in vehicle adaptation and conversion for disabled individuals. We are seeking a dedicated Vehicle Fitter to join our WAV (wheelchair accessible vehicle) team in Armagh. This role is vital in helping us deliver high-quality adapted vehicles that meet our clients' needs.

Responsibilities

• Fitting of conversion, ramps and restraint systems to meet customer specifications.
• Fitting/wiring other accessories including electric reels, winches, sidesteps.
• General welding on components during vehicle conversion.
• Support ongoing initiatives within the company.
• Maintain a safe and organised work environment.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Previous demonstrable experience in a similar role.
• Fitting experience.
• Basic welding experience (advantageous) although training will be provided.
• Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).

Desirable Skills

• Ability to work to under pressure in order to achieve agreed timescales.
