THE EMPLOYER IS: BODEGA BAGELS Bodega Bagels is Belfast’s only New York styled Bagel shop. We are looking to hire 2 Deli worker roles to work across our shops with the role primarily being based between our primary location on Royal Avenue, and our 2nd location at Halt Weavers Cross food market. The role will comprise of working on the till, taking customer orders and payment. Making bagels for customer orders, along with other food preparation activities such as daily prep of fresh produce. In addition their will be other front of house duties such as ensuring a clean and hygienic work environment is maintained at all times.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out till activities such as taking orders and payments.
• Calling out orders to customers once completed.
• Creating filled bagel sandwiches.
• Prepping food and fresh produce in hygienic manner.
• Cleaning equipment and maintain a clean front of house area.
• Answering customer queries.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Good communication skills to be able to work with the general public.
• Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively. This is a busy environment with busy peek times so it is essential our team can communicate with each other, take direction from supervisors and identify areas that need assistance in real time.

Desirable Skills

• Experience of working with in hospitality, in particular working with food would be ideal but not essential.
