THE EMPLOYER IS: BRIAN SLATER ROOFING As a Trainee Roofer/Roofer's Assistant, you will be working as part of a busy team. This position will involve learning how to install new roofs, repair and upgrade existing ones and installing gutter fascia boards, roof windows and slates/tiles. This is an excellent opportunity with progressive training provided to help you start your career as a future Roofing Installer with the company, depending on your performance.

Responsibilities

• Working as part of a busy team.
• Installing new roofs.
• Repairing and upgrading existing roofs.
• Installing gutter fascia boards.
• Installing roof windows.
• Installing slates/tiles.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Strong work ethic.
• Good time management skills.
• A strong willingness to learn.
• Good communication skills with a polite manner.

Desirable Skills

• Any previous roofing experience.
• Knowledge or experience of working with hand tools.
