Job description

To carry out day-to-day production tasks, including goods in & goods out requirements, end of line packaging while maintaining all Food and Health & Safety standards

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery & equipment safely e.g labelling/boxing machines
• Monitor quality of products - appearance, consistency, weights
• Maintain cleanliness of workstations & follow Food Safety/Hygiene procedures
• Record production data, batch codes & completion times
• Work effectively as part of a team to meet production targets
• Report any safety or quality issues to team leader, or supervisor
• Comply with all Food Safety & Health & Safety regulations

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Good communication skills
• Understanding of Hygiene, Health & Safety in the workplace
• Basic numeracy skills
• Ability to follow instructions

Desirable Skills

• Previous experience in a production environment preferable but not essential
