Job description

THE EMPLOYER IS: SYNCHRONISED CABLING SOLUTIONS LTD The role involves assisting with the installation of first fix wiring, mounting hardware, and brackets, as well as supporting the setup of equipment such as projectors, LED displays, speakers, microphones, cameras, and equipment racks, followed by power-on checks prior to commissioning. It also requires effective liaison with internal departments, clients, and contractors to ensure seamless project delivery, while maintaining a strong awareness of health and safety standards at all times.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the physical installation of first fix wiring and mounting hardware, brackets etc.
• Assist with the physical installation of equipment i.e., projectors, LED displays, speakers, microphones, cameras equipment racks etc) and power on check of the equipment in advance of commissioning.
• Liaising with other internal departments, clients and contractors.
• Health and Safety awareness at all times.
• Quickly diagnosing and resolving technical issues.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• The ability to lift heavy equipment, climb ladders, and handle the physical demands of setting up and taking down gear.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations for operating AV equipment, especially around the public.
• Able to learn skills, e.g. touch screen set up.
• A willingness to stay up-to-date with the latest AV technologies and trends.
• Knowledge of hand tools.
