Job description
ABI Choices is a specialist Training & Rehabilitation Service that supports adults with an acquired brain injury to engage in activities in their local community to develop their personal capacity, resilience, health and wellbeing. ABI Choices offers goal-directed support to participants to progress from the service when they have achieved their goals.
Responsibilities
- To work in partnership with a range of referral sources, including the Community Brain Injury Team.
- To hold a caseload of ABI participants, co-producing and managing their action plan activities.
- To deliver in-house specialist training and rehabilitation sessions.
- To support participants to engage in a Social Enterprise project.
- To source external social inclusion activities that lead to sustainable outcomes.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- A RQF level 6 (e.g., bachelor's degree) or equivalent level professional qualification and Minimum of 1 years’ paid experience in the direct provision of education, training, or support OR
- A Minimum RQF 4 or equivalent in a relevant discipline and a Minimum of 3 years’ paid experience as above.
- Proficiency in IT skills, specifically Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.
- Ability to work independently with good organisational, communication & interpersonal skills.
