Traffic Management Administrator
Job description
We are seeking a Traffic Management Administrator to support our team in maintaining a seamless and efficient environment for both clients and operatives. Please see employer website for full job details & person specification.
Responsibilities
- Report and log vehicle defects, schedule fleet inspections, and ensure compliance with Tax, MOT, and service requirements
- Collect, process, and verify weekly timesheets for operatives
- Book LOLER inspections, maintain PUWER records, and track VMS certificates, Lantra cards, and driving licence checks
- Support delivery of Toolbox Talks and maintain compliance documentation
- Place orders for equipment and materials, raise purchase orders, and chase suppliers to ensure timely delivery
- Assist with sign making and maintain accurate records of completed works
- Provide operational support to Traffic Management operatives during busy periods
- Contribute to overall compliance and operational efficiency by keeping records up to date and liaising with relevant stakeholders
- Undertake additional administrative tasks as required to support the smooth running of traffic management operations
- This role also offers scope to progress, with opportunities for training in AutoCAD Traffic Management Design and commercial bookkeeping, including invoicing and pricing
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Previous experience in a commercial / finance / pricing administration role
- Experience in use of Microsoft Packages
- Strong attention to detail
- Experience in a customer facing role
Desirable Skills
- Previous experience in a Facilities Management / Traffic Management sector
