Ardcomm is a community-based health and social care organisation and our Older Adults Services are dedicated to supporting older adults to maintain independence, well-being, and social connection. Our Older Adults Services aim to reduce isolation and loneliness while promoting access to essential health and social care. We deliver support through three integrated workstreams; - Domiciliary Care Department: A regulated service led by a Registered Manager. - Good Morning West Belfast: A daily telephone check-in and support line. - Elders Forum: social club supporting in-person activities including daily meals, health and education workshops, outings and celebrations, and advocacy. Together, these services ensure older adults remain connected, empowered, and included in community life.
Responsibilities
- Provide supervision and leadership for the unregulated services (telephone line and social club).
- Support the Registered Manager in the domiciliary care department.
- Ensure services are person-centred, inclusive, and compliant with legislation and best practice.
- Drive innovation, community engagement, and advocacy to strengthen the voice of older adults.
- Maintain accurate records of service delivery, staff activity, and user engagement.
- Develop and oversee databases for data capture and monitoring.
- Regularly review online systems to ensure data quality and integrity.
- Analyse service data to identify emerging needs, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
- Produce reports and dashboards to support evaluation, compliance, and strategic planning.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Level 5 qualification or above in health and social care, gerontology, public health, or a related field.
- Proven experience (1-2 years) in coordinating telehealth programs or older adults social care services.
- Experience in working with older populations and understanding their health and social needs, and the regulatory frameworks that govern good practice.

- Driving: The post holder will be required to travel between Ardcomm service sites and community venues. A full, clean UK driving licence is essential.
- Insurance: The post holder must hold appropriate business use insurance for their vehicle.
Desirable Skills
- Experience working with third-party providers, community organisations, or local authorities.
- Previous experience in a social inclusion or community development role, particularly involving older adults.
