The post holder is responsible for the overall leadership, operational management and professional management of the public health nursing integrated team. The post holder will have responsibility for management, supervision, safeguarding, budgetary management, management of absence and will ensure the effective and efficient delivery of services for pre-school and school age children in line with local identified needs. Responsibilities

• Responsible for the operational management of an integrated skill mix team within Public Health Nursing.
• Responsible for recruitment, selection and induction of staff, developmental reviews and personal development plans.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Registered on Live NMC register Part 1 or 2 & Part 3 - Specialist Community Public Health Nurse (SCPHN) - Health visiting or School nursing (HVible for the operational management of an integrated skill mix team within Public Health Nursing.
• Worked as a SCPHN (HV/SN) for a minimum of 3 years managing a generic health visiting/school nursing caseload
