THE EMPLOYER IS: NJM ACCOUNTANCY NJM Accountancy is an established accounting firm located in Bangor, Northern Ireland. Our services include accounting, book-keeping, payroll services, VAT, tax returns and financial planning. We use our extensive knowledge to provide quality solutions tailored to meet the needs of our clients and has ensured our strong reputation for delivering high quality advisory and consultancy work. As a result of our continued growth and in conjunction with Job Start, we now wish to recruit for an Advertising / Marketing Assistant to support the team and the Managing Director. This internship offers an opportunity to gain practical experience in social media marketing, develop your skills in content creation and management, and learn about digital marketing strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Develop social media content for channels such as Facebook and Tiktok.
  • Produce Videos & Images.
  • Develop and send promotional email campaigns.
  • Post relevant content for our target markets.
  • Design eye catching graphics, infographics and visual content for social media, website and other marketing channels.
  • Develop marketing literature.
  • Track, analyse and report on marketing campaign performance using various analytics tools.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • Attention to detail and accuracy is essential.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbally.
  • Ability to learn quickly with creative thinking and ability to contribute innovative ideas.
  • Basic understanding of social media.
  • Must be able to co-work effectively and able use own initiative within a close-knit team.
  • Ability to deal with confidential information.
  • Minimum GCSE Mathematics and English C or Essential Skills Qualification.

Desirable Skills

  • Able to demonstrate successful growth on a social media page or account.
  • Experience in managing social media business accounts.
  • ICT qualification.
