THE EMPLOYER IS: STREET LIFE Street Life are seeking a stock/sales assistant to join their team. The assistant will support inventory handling and stockroom organization, keeping an efficient supply flow to the sales floor or other departments. This role will include enhancing customer experience and supporting sales operations through direct service, merchandising, and front-of-house assistant.

Responsibilities

• Unpack, inspect, and book in deliveries using scanners/manual records; record discrepancies.
• Label, arrange, and store items in an orderly fashion; maintain stockroom cleanliness.
• Restock merchandise to sales floor; prepare outgoing orders and deliveries.
• Inspect stock for damage or defects and report issue.
• Greet and assist customers; assess needs; answer product inquiries.
• Inform customers about features, promotions, and pricing; demonstrate products.
• Operate POS systems; process payments, returns, and exchanges.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physical ability to lift/move heavy items.
• Organisational skills.

Desirable Skills

• Previous retail or customer service experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be given.
