Job description

Social Media Officer required for an MLA in a political role, promoting the work and engaging on all media platforms and with stakeholders etc.

Responsibilities

• Develop MLA and manage MLA presence on social media, digital media platforms and via constituency letters etc
• Create an engaging social media content for local constituents and ensure MLA work is communicated
• Developing and monitoring social media output and content

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Degree (or equivalent qualification) and 6 months experience or at least one years’ relevant experience in Social Media, PR, Journalism or producing background
• Excellent knowledge of the political landscape and social media, analyse trends
