THE EMPLOYER IS: SPRINGFIELD CHARITABLE ASSOCIATION We are looking for an enthusiastic team-player to join us in our bright and vibrant Crescent Vitality Centre working with the Vitality Over 55 Project. Your main role will be to plan and deliver meaningful, person-centred activity and occupation to all our service users so that every day is filled with magic moments. We believe it is everyone’s role to help our service users live well and enjoy life. You will ensure clients’ dignity and self-esteem is enhanced through meaningful engagement, positive relationships and free expression of individuality. So that you have the confidence and skills to deliver high quality activity and engagement to residents, you will receive individual support, guidance and investment in your development.
Responsibilities
- Assisting the Programmes Manager in the development of project activities and services.
- Leading on, and delivering, high quality meaningful activity for all service users.
- Ensuring people living with early on-set dementia enjoy the same opportunities for engagement and activity as other service users.
- Stimulating excellent interaction and communication between staff and service users.
- Coordinate the setup of rooms.
- Promoting and developing mealtimes as highlight of the day.
- Creating and maintaining excellent community links.
- Support the Programme Manager in creating and maintaining excellent community links.
- Maintaining accurate documentation, hard copy and digital, of client progress and activities.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Have the ability to enthuse and guide others.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Desirable Skills
- Experience working with a wide range of seniors (over 55).
- Any previous experience of providing activities or leading others.

The Employer is: SPRINGFIELD CHARITABLE ASSOCIATION JobStart Opportunity - Working Hours Information - Standard Hours: up to 25 hours per week. - Flexible/Reduced Hours: May be available upon approval by a Work Coach. - Additional Hours: The employer may offer extra hours depending on availability.
