THE EMPLOYER IS: SPRINGFIELD CHARITABLE ASSOCIATION We are looking for an enthusiastic team-player to join us in our bright and vibrant Crescent Vitality centre working with the Vitality Over 55 Project. Your main role will be to help our service users live well and enjoy life through participation in hydrotherapy pool sessions. Our aim is to ensure that clients can improve their physical abilities through access to hydrotherapy to help in their recovery and treatment after injury and in the management and relief from longer term chronic health and wellbeing conditions. So that you have the confidence and skills to deliver high quality activity and engagement to residents, you will receive individual support, guidance and investment in your development.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting the Activity Leader and Programme Manager in the delivery of project activities and services.
  • Ensure clients’ dignity and self-esteem is enhanced through positive engagement and communications.
  • Deal with customer queries.
  • Coordinate the preparation and setup of rooms and equipment as required to support pool rotations including cleaning the pool and changing areas.
  • Assist and support the scheduling and delivery of aquatic therapy programs tailored to individual client needs.
  • Responsible for administrative tasks, paper based and digital, associated with client and participant recruitment and engagement.
  • Maintaining accurate documentation, hard copy and digital, of client progress and activities.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • A real focus on customer service.
  • Good standard of written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge in the use of digital applications.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience working with a wide range of seniors (over 55).
  • Any previous experience of providing activities or leading others.
  • Someone with passion and personality.
  • Be a great team player.
