THE EMPLOYER IS: KELLY MCEVOY & BROWN Kelly McEvoy & Brown are seeking a reliable and hardworking Skilled Labourer to join our team. The successful candidate will assist with general site duties, support tradespeople, and ensure work areas are kept safe, clean, and efficient. This is an excellent opportunity with progressive training provided to either help you start your career in construction or developed your skills with the company, depending on your performance
Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with daily construction tasks.
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment safely.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the construction site.
- Operate basic hand tools and equipment under supervision.
- Always follow health and safety procedures.
- Support site setup and clean-up before and after shifts.
- Work effectively as part of a team to meet project deadlines.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Good time management.
- Ability to work well as part of a team.
- Capable of meeting the physical demands of the job.
- A strong willingness to learn.
- Good communication skills with a polite manner.
Desirable Skills
- Basic understanding of health and safety on construction sites.
- Valid CSR/Safe-pass Card.
- Understanding the workings of Heavy Plant & Equipment.
- Own transport to workplace/meeting point.
