Studio Assistant

THE EMPLOYER IS: WHITENOISE DESIGN LTD The Studio Assistant will support the daily operations of Whitenoise Creative Studio, ensuring the smooth running of administrative, reception, and organisational tasks. This role provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced creative environment and to support a dynamic team of designers, producers, and project managers.

Responsibilities

  • Perform general administrative and reception duties, including answering phones, greeting visitors, and managing studio communications.
  • Order and maintain office supplies, manage stock levels, and liaise with suppliers.
  • Assist in scheduling meetings, maintaining studio calendars, and coordinating travel arrangements.
  • Support internal communications, help organise team meetings and social events.
  • Maintain an orderly studio environment, ensuring spaces are presentable and operational.
  • Support HR and finance administration tasks such as timesheets, invoices, and expense tracking.
  • Assist other departments as needed, providing flexible support across studio operations.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • Strong communication skills - written and verbal.
  • Good computer literacy (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Apple operating systems (IOS)).
  • Data entry and filing: Accurate record-keeping and managing both physical and digital files are critical.
  • Organisation and time management: The ability to prioritise tasks, manage a schedule, and stay organised is crucial for handling multiple responsibilities.
  • Attention to detail: This is vital for ensuring accuracy in all tasks, from data entry to scheduling.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience in a creative agency or team.
  • Client account management.
  • Marketing skills or experience.

The Employer is: WHITENOISE DESIGN LTD JobStart Opportunity - Working Hours Information Standard Hours: up to 25 hours per week. Flexible/Reduced Hours: May be available upon approval by a Work Coach. Additional Hours: The employer may offer extra hours depending on availability.
