THE EMPLOYER IS: ANCHOR ENGINEERING LIMITED We're seeking a dual-skilled IT and Marketing Consultant to lead our digital transformation initiative and develop modern marketing strategies for our B2B industrial products business. This role combines technical implementation (systems, databases, e-commerce) with digital marketing execution (SEO, content, lead generation) to support our ambitious growth plan. The ideal candidate understands both the technical infrastructure needed for operational efficiency and the marketing strategies required to drive B2B growth in industrial sectors.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and configure customer relationship management (CRM) system.
  • Automate quotation processes and customer communications.
  • Set up email marketing automation and customer segmentation.
  • Integrate systems for seamless data flow (inventory, CRM, e-commerce, accounting).
  • Build or oversee development of e-commerce capability for standard product.
  • Create product pages with technical specifications, CAD drawings, and cross-references.
  • Assess current technology stack and recommend improvements.
  • Ensure data security and backup protocols.
  • Develop and execute digital marketing strategy for B2B industrial audience.
  • Manage company website, blog, and online product catalogue.
  • Optimize for search engines (technical SEO for industrial products).
  • Develop digital campaigns targeting specific industries (food processing, manufacturing, HVAC, etc.)
  • Manage Google Business Profile and local SEO.
  • Create email marketing campaigns for customer retention and reactivation.
  • Implement lead capture and nurturing systems.
  • Build LinkedIn company presence and thought leadership.
  • Create content calendar for social media (primarily LinkedIn for B2B).
  • Engage with industrial communities and potential customers.
  • Share technical expertise and case studies.
  • Set up tracking and analytics (website traffic, conversions, lead sources).
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and report on progress.
  • A/B test marketing campaigns and optimize based on results.
  • Provide monthly performance reports with actionable insights.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • Web Development: Familiarity with e-commerce platforms (Shopify, WooCommerce, or custom solutions).
  • CRM Systems: Experience implementing and configuring CRM platforms (HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho, etc.)
  • Integration: Ability to connect different systems and automate workflows.
  • Data Analysis: Comfortable working with large datasets and creating reports.
  • B2B Marketing: Proven experience in B2B marketing, preferably in industrial/technical sectors.
  • Digital Marketing: SEO, content marketing, email marketing, PPC advertising.
  • Content Creation: Ability to write technical content for industrial audiences.
  • Analytics: Google Analytics, marketing automation platforms, conversion tracking.
  • Lead Generation: Experience with B2B lead generation and nurturing strategies.
  • Self-motivated: Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Problem-solver: Creative solutions to technical and marketing challenges.
  • Communicator: Can explain technical concepts to non-technical team.
  • Organized: Strong project management skills and attention to detail.
  • Adaptable: Comfortable in small business environment with multiple priorities.

Desirable Skills

  • 3 years experience or more in IT implementation and digital marketing (combined or separate roles).
  • Experience with industrial, manufacturing, or B2B distribution sectors.
  • Understanding of technical products and ability to learn product specifications.
  • Proven track record of successful digital transformation projects.
  • Certifications in Google Analytics, HubSpot, or relevant platforms.
  • Experience with small to medium-sized businesses (SMBs).
