Job description

To work as part of a multidisciplinary team to ensure the delivery of a quality service to children and their families including children with special needs. The post involves 24 hour cover to include day and night duty, evenings, weekends and bank holidays in any area of the Trust to meet the needs of the service as required. Responsibilities

• Advise and support families/carers and other agencies/professional as required on the management of the health needs of children including children with special needs within a school setting.
• Ensure a safe environment for personal/client/staff care and in the absence of same communicate with Line Manager.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Registered Sick Children’s Nurse RN/ RN8 on NMC register.
• Current registration with the NMC.
