Canteen Operative
Job description
We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Canteen Worker to join our team on the night shift at our factory canteen. This role is essential in ensuring night shift staff have access to freshly prepared food in a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. This is a hands on role that requires reliability, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic, particularly during night time hours.
Responsibilities
- Preparation of food for night shift staff, following food safety and hygiene standards.
- Serving meals and maintaining adequate food supplies during the shift.
- Cleaning and housekeeping duties within the canteen, including food preparation areas, dining areas, and equipment.
- Ensuring all health, safety, and hygiene procedures are followed at all times.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- No previous experience required.
- Ability to work independently during night hours.
Desirable Skills
- Good attention to cleanliness and hygiene.
- Previous experience in food preparation or catering is an advantage, but not essential.
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
