Job description

THE EMPLOYER IS: ISLAND TURF CRAFTS LIMITED As a Marketing and Administration Assistant, you will be providing administrative support to the marketing team and assisting in the execution of marketing campaigns, while ensuring smooth day-to-day office operations.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in creating, editing, and scheduling social media posts across platforms.
  • Support the development of marketing materials (brochures, flyers, presentations).
  • Help coordinate email marketing campaigns and maintain mailing lists.
  • Conduct market research and compile reports on competitors and trends.
  • Update and maintain website content as required.
  • Handle incoming calls, emails, and general enquiries professionally.
  • Organise and maintain files, records, and databases.
  • Schedule meetings, prepare agendas, and take minutes when necessary.
  • Process invoices, purchase orders, and maintain office supplies.
  • Provide general support to the team and assist with ad-hoc tasks.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and basic marketing tools.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Suite).
  • Knowledge of CRM systems and email marketing software.
  • Previous experience in a marketing or administrative role.
