Job description

THE EMPLOYER IS: STRATEGIC INVESTMENT BOARD The purpose of this role is to provide a support function to the Social Value Unit with the Strategic Investment Board, with a particular focus on administrative duties in relation to live contracts that have social value requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and deliver administrative support to the Social Value Unit.
  • Act as the primary administrator of the Social Value Unit monitoring system, which involves adding new contacts to the system, updating contracts if required, running monthly ad-hoc reports, ensuring the system is running as required and more.
  • Ensure data is submitted when required and complete monthly quality assurance checks.
  • Ensure contract documentation is received and stored appropriately and in line with Data Protection Legislation.
  • Support and maintain the Social Value website (with support from SIB Communications Team and Social Value team).
  • Other administrative tasks as and when required.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • Experience of working effectively, both independently and as a member of a team.
  • Good attention to detail and accuracy in all work.
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite; particularly Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Excellent organisational skills including the ability to meet conflicting deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills, both orally and in writing.
  • Excellent numeracy and literacy skills.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience in providing high quality administrative support.
  • Experience of managing a database.
  • Experience of updating a website using wordpress or similar system.
  • Interest in sustainability.
