Job description

Work with Sense and make a real difference to the lives of the people we support and their families. You don’t need any previous experience to become a support worker with Sense. We’ll give you full training for all our roles. Sense are looking for a Support Worker to join our fantastic Supported living service in the Malone, Belfast area. This is an exciting time to come and be part of a fantastic team at an established service supporting 6 independent individuals, one of whom won Sense Person of the Year last year! Interviews for this role are planned for the 22nd December.

Responsibilities

• Supporting people with everyday tasks like cooking and cleaning.
• Personal care and hygiene.
• Helping with finances.
• Medication and well-being.
• Going into the community for shopping or other trips.
• Supporting people with their social life and night life.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Available to work alternate weekends.
• Willing to attend training as needed to support you in your role.
• A full manual drivers licence and be willing to drive a resident's vehicle.
