THE EMPLOYER IS: PEARL BEAUTY COSMETICS This is an exciting opportunity to join the Pearl Beauty team as a Shop Assistant based in our Courthouse shop in Bushmills. The role involves engaging with customers, showcasing our range of beauty products, processing sales transactions, and assisting with stock and day-to-day shop duties. The successful candidate will also support the brand’s online presence by creating social media content and occasionally going live on platforms such as Instagram and TikTok.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers.
• Demonstrate and explain makeup products to customers confidently.
• Handle customer transactions including cash and card payments.
• Maintain store appearance and ensure displays are tidy and well-stocked.
• Assist with inventory management.
• Create engaging social media content, including videos and live streams.
• Meet sales goals and deliver excellent customer service.
• Adhere to company policies and building health and safety guidelines.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Confidence in interacting with customers.
• Basic computer literacy and ability to use point-of-sale systems.
• Interest in beauty and makeup products.
• Money handling ability.
• Willingness to go on camera for social media content.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Desirable Skills

• Experience in retail, particularly in the beauty or cosmetics industry.
• Experience using social media platforms like Instagram or TikTok.
• Basic makeup application skills or beauty knowledge.

The Employer is: PEARL BEAUTY COSMETICS JobStart Opportunity - Working Hours Information - Standard Hours: up to 25 hours per week. - Flexible/Reduced Hours: May be available upon approval by a Work Coach. - Additional Hours: The employer may offer extra hours depending on availability.
