Job description

To provide care and support to people with a variety of needs enabling them to maintain their aspirations for independent living. This job description is generic and applies to all community care workers.

Responsibilities

• The duties will be determined by the individual needs of the client being cared for.
• The context in which care is provided may vary according to the clients living environment.
• The care and support provided will be across the geographical area covered by Platinum Support and Care Services.
• The care and support provided may be to people with physical needs, sensory disabilities, mental health needs, people of any age group, or a combination of these.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• No experience required as training will be provided.
• Must have registration with Northern Ireland Social Care Council (NISCC) before employment would commence.

Further Information

Salary: Driver - £13.36 per hour (Monday - Friday). £14.56 per hour (Saturday - Sunday). Non-Driver - £12.27 per hour (Monday - Friday). £13.47 per hour (Saturday - Sunday).
