Nazareth House Care Village, 516 Ravenhill Road, Belfast. We are looking for an experienced and passionate Assistant Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in preparing and serving meals, enjoy working in a busy environment, and be able to work collaboratively while maintaining high standards.

• Cater for functions and offer alternative choices at short notice
• Work collaboratively while maintaining high standards.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Knowledge of HACCP, food allergens, and special diets
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to cater for functions and offer alternative choices at short notice
• Recognised Catering Qualification
• Food Hygiene Certificate
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Cook in catering or restaurant industry
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Desirable Skills

• GCSE English (A or C or equivalent) Experience in a Nursing/Residential Home
