Job description

At Habitat ReStore, individuals will gain work experience within a retail environment. Individuals will gain experience in various retail operations. Tasks include customer service, operating the till, pricing and bar-coding incoming items, sorting and displaying of donations. There is a role for everyone.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a high standard of presentation, display and merchandising of stock on the shop floor
• Provide excellent customer service, handling customer queries in person and on the phone
• Operating the electronic Till system, including the booking of donation collections and processing payments.
• Sort donated goods, this could include the pricing and barcoding of stock
• Assist with keeping the store clean and tidy and that health & safety regulations are adhered to.
• Attend appropriate training as required.

Further Information

Employer - Habitat ReStore Lisburn This work experience opportunity is expected to last for 8 weeks and will require attendance of 25 - 30 hours per week. While on Work Experience, participants will retain their entitlement to benefit. Travel and childcare costs may be reimbursed.
