Reviews Project Manager
Job description
The project manager will be part of a team of project managers each of whom will have responsibility for the planning, management and delivery of specific reviews from RQIA’s review programme. The project manager will contribute to the development of the RQIA review programme to ensure that it is balanced in terms of people, place, programme and policy. The project manager will: Lead a team of expert and lay reviewers in reviews of HSC organisations. Co-ordinate all aspects of a review, ensuring that the review is managed in line with a tailored project management methodology. Ensure that all objectives and timescales set out in the project brief project initiation document are met. Ensure that all reviews are robust and based on recognised standards and guidelines. Participate in the continuing development and evaluation of review methodology in conjunction with other RQIA staff.

Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- A relevant university degree/professional qualification or equivalent AND At least three years’ proven knowledge and experience of utilising essential project management skills.
- Or have at least five years' proven knowledge and experience of utilising essential project management skills.
- A recognised project management qualification, such as PRINCE2 Foundation Level or equivalent.
- Proven knowledge of governance, risk management and/or quality assurance.
- Demonstrated evidence of experience in the interpretation of information and report writing.
- Demonstrated evidence of ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Demonstrated evidence of having worked with a diverse range of stakeholders both internal and external to achieve successful outcomes.
- Hold a full, current driving licence (valid in the UK) and have access to a car at the closing date or have access to a form of transport which will permit the applicant to carry out the duties of the post in full.

Desirable Skills
- Knowledge of HSC organisations and services provided.
- Knowledge of the legislation and associated regulations underpinning the work of RQIA.
