Job description

THE EMPLOYER IS: PREMIER TRAFFIC SYSTEMS LIMITED The Office Administrator will support the smooth and efficient running of the office by providing high-quality administrative assistance. This role is ideal for individuals at the beginning of their career who are keen to gain practical office experience, develop transferable skills, and work in a professional office environment. Full training and ongoing support will be provided.

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the office and wider team.
  • Answer and direct phone calls, direct queries, and take messages as required.
  • Schedule meetings, manage calendars, and prepare meeting rooms.
  • Assist with filing, scanning, photocopying, and maintaining office records.
  • Enter, update, and manage data on internal systems and spreadsheets.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing post and deliveries.
  • Order and monitor office supplies and stationery.
  • Welcome visitors and assist with reception duties when required.
  • Support managers and colleagues with administrative tasks.
  • Learn and use basic computer packages such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and other office software.
  • Maintain a tidy and organised office environment.
  • Carry out any other general administrative duties as required.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Flexible and adaptable.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong organisational skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic IT skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to learn and develop new skill.

Desirable Skills

  • GCSEs (or equivalent) including English and Maths preferred.
